I'm a Luxon, just thought I'd explain that before I tell you about my woes. Over the course of this week I have gathered all the things needed to craft myself a little black moa chick minipet. I had left dipping the egg in the Mourning Vale Falls 'till last because I don't really like Kurzick land a whole lot (too dark and depressing) anyhoo, I fought my way up to the zone transition portal that lead from Echovald Forest into The Jade Sea. I saw a gate barring the way and a Kurzick npc standing infront of it. When i talked to him he said (basically) 'Bugger off you dirty Luxon'. So sadly I spent all my Luxon faction then went and did a few quests for my arch-foes the Kurzicks. When I had gotten about 1,000 kurzick faction I trotted back to the Jade Sea, I was sad that now all Luxon nps refused to talk/trade/give quests to me so I decided to go A/B a lot to get my Luxon faction back up after I had the chick. So once again I battled my way up to that npc and once again he told me to go 'Bugger off'. So all in all, how the hec do I get to Mourning Vale Falls, whilst preferably retaining my Luxon-dem?

you need 10k rather then 1k faction to get in

some choices while still being a luxon are:
competitive mission-ing (from Great Temple of Balthazar talk to Kurzick Diplomat)
get a guest invite to a kurz guild and ab

Kurzick faction is easier to get than Luxon faction (at least if you do quests). Go to House zu Heltzer and do as many quests as you can. I believe Arborstone has an exit to House zu Heltzer, in case you don't have it on your map.

thanks, but I was wondering more if there was a route that could be walked to Mourning Vale Falls that bypassed missions, is there?

No. Had to do that very thing myself yesterday. Getting the 10k Kurzick points takes only a few hours - very short, compared to Luxon.

If you get to the Conservatory you can HFF which is very fast. If you look on wiki it will tell you exactly how to do it.

If you are Luxon and completed the game, leave from harvest temple in unwaking waters explorable. You can get into the Kurzick side of Unwaking Waters by talking to the NPC (near Cultist Rajazan)

thanks, but that is the route I tried to take, and yes I have completed Fcations. It seems I'll go gather myself some Kurzick faction, despite it being against my moral code XD, thanks to all who posted!

As far as I know, there's no path except the other faction. I had to do the same thing, the other way, to get the incubator in Gayla Hatchery (explorable). Once you get there, Mourning Veil Falls is a snap.

Good point. Unlike many other steps in the process of getting a mini moa, dipping the egg in the falls is not one you have to do yourself (unless that's changed recently).
